2024 Spring League Registration

Registration for the 2024 Spring Season is currently open (please click register link on the left)

This spring, we intend to offer programs for the following age groups, pending sufficient demand and availability of volunteer coaches:

Boys in the following grades: 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12

Girls in the following grades: 2/3/4, 5/6/7/8

As always, our programs are ONLY open to residents in the Council Rock School District (CRSD).  Do not register your son/daughter for this program if you do not reside in CRSD or the registration will be canceled, and your registration fee will be refunded minus a processing fee.


All games will be in CRSD gyms. The Spring league is targeted to run from Mid-April to early June with games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday. The nights on which any group will play have not yet been determined and will depend on number of teams.  There will be no practices.  We are targeting a total of 10 games per group + playoffs.


Because games will not be played on set night, “exclusion night” requests will NOT be honored.  Also, please do not include a “friend request” as part of your child’s registration.  “Friend requests” will NOT be taken into consideration when forming teams.

Covid protocols may change throughout the Spring season to align with CDC and local. Anyone failing to adhere to these will be removed from the Spring league.

All games will be in CRSD gyms. The Spring league is targeted to run from Early April – mid June with games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday nights – expected game times are: 5:30; 6:10; 7:20 or 8:30. The nights on which this group will play have not yet been determined and will depend on number of teams.  There will be no practices.  While we are targeting 2 games/week over 8 weeks.

Because games will not be played on set night, “exclusion night” requests will NOT be honored.  Also, please do not include a “friend request” as part of your child’s registration.  “Friend requests” will NOT be taken into consideration when forming teams.

2021 Spring Registration

Registration is now OPEN for CRBA Spring basketball.

As always, our programs are ONLY open to residents in the Council Rock School District (CRSD). Do not register your son/daughter for this program if you do not reside in CRSD or the registration will be canceled, and your registration fee will be refunded minus a processing fee.

Covid protocols will be in full force throughout the Spring season. This includes any protocols mandates by the State, County or Township during the season.  Anyone failing to adhere to these will be removed from the Spring league.

All arriving/departing teams are expected to follow all applicable State, County, Township, and CRBA Covid guidelines:

  • including arriving no earlier than 10 mins prior to your game and departing immediately after.
  • In compliance with local guidelines, spectators are limited to 1 per player.
  • All participants (coaches, kids, refs) will be required to wear masks during games – while on the bench OR on the court.
  • Having received the vaccination will not change the mask requirement for any participant (players, coaches or refs).

The Spring league is targeted to run from Early April – mid June with games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday nights – expected game times are: 5:15; 6:20; 7:25 and 8:30. The nights on which this group will play have not yet been determined and will depend on number of teams.  There will be no practices.  While we are targeting 2 games/week over 8 weeks, due to weather related cancellations this could be significantly impacted.

5 Ways to Have the Best Season Ever


Five Ways to Have the Best Season Ever

  1. Respect the gyms upon arrival, during and after the games.  Remove all trash and bring your own chairs.
  2. ALWAYS Respect our Officials.  The Referees are helping your children learn the game of basketball.  Trust their judgement.  There is a zero tolerance for countering a call or disrespecting our officials.
  3. ALWAYS cheer for your children and their teammates.  There is no need to instruct from the sidelines.  Yelling directions to your children is confusing.  Offer to help your coach at practice or volunteer to coach.
  4. Give your child love and support.  It’s so easy to get caught up in making sure they do everything right or that they always win – the game, or scrimmage or contest. This is definitely the wrong approach to take. We have to remember as parents that our children are participating in youth basketball to have fun, to be with their friends and to compete.
  5. Let your child dribble, pass and practice footwork whenever possible.  Youth basketball parents should remember to encourage their child to practice, join them as often as you can – but never force them. They will determine how often they want to practice.  “Practice makes Perfect”
